The mask is worn so that if you have the virus, but don’t know it, you won’t spread it to others.

So here, Wallace is saying that every person in that hall wore masks, except the Trump family.

If the Trump family got the virus in that hall, it doesn’t show that masks work, it shows that they do not, because if someone in that hall gave it to them, they did so THROUGH THE MASK that is supposed to prevent it.

CDC still says a mask CAN help you, because it will stop some large particles. But they note that you can get sick by hand-to-face contact, and also through your eyes. The mask on the infected person stops most particles from getting into the air in the first place, so it is very effective, up to 75% effective.

So, it is likely that Hope and the Trumps were confronted by someone who was sick and was not wearing a mask, and it isn’t their “not wearing a mask at the debate” that got them sick.

Remember, everybody at the debate was tested, and most of them had been tested previously. There was a lot of other places where they had a chance to interact with people who were not getting their circle of contacts tested.

I think when we wear masks for extended time is harmful and always hurts people with COPD. Personally when I wear a mask my O2 numbers drop significantly. 94 before mask and after just two hours it drops to 84. This is oxygen deprivation.
Also when flu season we bared through it and our bodies were allowed to build immunities and some got it but most didnt. But know you are sHamed into wearing a mask. I will not wear a mask any longer.

Wallace said a a pin head. Only at minimum N95 respirators have filtering capabilities to remove viruses encapsulated in vapors. All the other non NIOSH approved masks are usless for anything other than stopping a person from spitting across the room.
