He’s also 74, which in and of itself has a reported 90X+ greater risk factor for serious complications over someone in their 20s.
That said, I of course wish him and Melania a speedy recovery. But let’s not kid ourselves on his health and risk factors, either..

You are right, according to studies (and there are several now) obesity can raise a person’s risk by nearly 30%. My husband and I have been working hard to get our BMI down and we are both at 24% now and normal blood sugar levels.
Not saying that the president is going to get a severe case, just saying we need to be praying he doesn’t!
