Why would I allow the Debate Commission to change the rules for the second and third Debates when I easily won last time?

Trump won and it wasn't even close.
Why would the Democrats be screaming for Trump to be muted in the next debate if they thought Trump lost? The Dems would want the rules to stay the same if they really thought Trump lost no?

General consensus is neither Trump or Biden won the debate, only Wallace lost. That said, there seems to be some concern on the left that Biden lost because he resorted to name calling which made him look like the petulant a$$ we all know he is. Trump could have let Biden step on his own boys, by interrupting less, but he rattled Biden enough that he resorted to name calling. What I have read is the left believes Biden could of won the debate had he not resorted to name calling. The right says Trump clearly would of won if he had not been so over bearing. All that aside I believe Trump gets a bump from this debate because it was clear that Biden and Wallace ganged up on Trump and that turned people off.

Under no circumstances should Trump agree to a rules change whereby the “moderator” can mute President Trump's mic.
Trump is better of boycotting the “debate” and holding his own townhall instead with Mark Levin moderating.

So you call me a pearl clutcher.

I am anything but.

I will never post or read your posts again.

Insulting people is never a good way to start a discussion.

Insult? I think not.
So now you ban the poster? Like a clam, protecting it’s pearl. .. You slam shut... You banished him.....

Funny thing is your Sunday posts are enjoyable. This one.... Closed minded. Too bad...... Cause I’ve read your books too. You seem different today....

Just call me disappointed Fish.

......further...... I agree with your original post evaluating the debate.... There was not a winner. Except WallASS.

Trump is a street fighter. So am I.
Like Rocky... Expect Trump to wipe Apollo Creed in the second debate.... Even with the moderator being a former Biden staffer...

God Bless and, as always, I truly look forward to your Sunday writing.

I just wished he wouldn’t have interrupted to much.

Oh I wish, I wish for a pony, I wish upon a star....What utter bull sh*t.

Trump is the most forthright, honest and upfront president in U.S. history who's up against literally an army of media leftist who talk sh*t about him 24/7 for *years* now and Trump has to take it.

Trump, when he has the opportunity, needs to interrupt and slam these Communist and Anti-American stooges every single opportunity he gets.

I think Trump could have done a lot better, looked more presidential if I had to sum.

You mean President Trump should have allowed Chris Wallace to railroad him without vigorously slapping him down, yes?

“I just wished he wouldn’t have interrupted to much. I wish he would have allowed lyin Biden to go on, write down the things he wishes to respond and .....well I don’t really have a problem with anything he said.
It was the interrupting that bothered me.”

As Rush and others have pointed out, the interruptions worked against Trump in that Trump wasn’t letting Biden fully jam his foot down his throat with one of his gaftastic bloopers.

As one commentator put it, Trump kept tackling Biden on the 1 yard line just as Biden was about to score safetys.

So even setting aside the common distaste for a person interruption and trying to talk over others, Trump didn’t do himself any favors. Two more outings like that won’t be pleasant in realtime or in the aftermath.

“ He also quickly realized that Wallace was not going to adhere to the agreed upon debate rules”

Quickly realized?

Everyone on the planet knows Wallace is a never-Trumper. So what’s to “realize?”

thanks... you forgot the sarc tag...

hehehe

if biden does the third debate, trump will probably be more assertive with facts... an indictment of hunter would be very assertive... so would the durham report. but alas... i expect pence to be courteous, but not let them tell lies...

Mike Pence: “i’m sorry mr moderator, but your premise about the seat being Justice Ginsburg’s is all wrong. It is constitutional for the president to nominate, and for the senate to confirm, what the democrats are doing, by stalling, is not constitutional.”

Kamala Harris: It is hypocritical of the Republicans to do this before the election...

Mike Pence: Shut up Ho... sheeeeeeet.

It was Trump’s constant interruptions. He did not say anything wrong and Biden calling names was awful.

He calls the President of the US a clown ? Calling him a liar?

I wrote at the very top of this post that Biden did not win. I just think that President Trump treated that debate like it was one of his rallies.

And Wallace was awful.

As I see President Trump interrupted too much. And it’s very bad manners.

How he not done that he would’ve won handily.

But you say it’s considered a tie, and I buy that.

I just wished he wouldn’t have interrupted to much.

Nonsense.
What are you?
A paid troll for Biden out to push the far left talking points? Who was the first to interrupt? Biden. Who interrupted the first three times? Biden. So how come you keep spewing out garbage about Trump interrupting?

Trump is very much “Presidential”. But in the 1890-1920s style. Like Teddy Roosevelt. No, he’s not the smarmy norm we’ve come to expect today from Republicans. But Democrats when they act like Trump get big kudos from the same press.

So I guess it’s “Republican Presidential” that’s expected. I remember Obama giving the finger. Was he Presidential? No he was a smug arrogant holier-than-thou prick. Clinton’s smarm? He was a rapist for heaven’s sake.

Well, I prefer the noisy in-your-face Trump who fights for this country to the oh so calm and collected “superior” Soros-puppets.

That is what I generally hear on TV and online, it’s a tie. However, I still think Trump gets the bump in the polls.

It was Biden that interrupted the first three times, without Chris Wallace saying as much as a word about it.
Don't go whining to mama when you start a fight and get clobbered.
Prissy Wallace was clearly in cahoots with the Biden campaign.
I wouldn't be surprised if he'd already given the questions to Biden beforehand. What Trump did was disrupt their carefully laid plans by coming out swinging.
Like Mike Tyson said, everyone has a plan until they get hit in the mouth.
