I don’t doubt it. I went to my friendly neighborhood Rural King for some ammo, not ONE 9mm bullet in the store. They told me to call them first thing in the morning to see if their truck brought any in. I want to check out the Taurus G3, they’re selling them as fast as they get them.
Come on man.
Got a a G2C, the short barreled version of the G3. I think you’ll like it. The trigger reset does take a little getting used to. Long pull, short reset.

Ammo on line is sold out, some are offering ammo from slavic countries
I was in a large local gun shop recently, and saw one buyer leave WITHOUT the AR they were planning to buy, because the store had exactly ONE box of .223 in stock. Guess the buyer figured, what good is the rifle, without ammunition? Flip side of that coin: hard to run an FFL/gun shop & sell guns, when you can't keep ammo in stock (especially for all of the first-time buyers).
The shop had lots of mags in stock, and lots of ammo in some other calibers (including a couple of my favorites, .38 Super & 7.62x39mm ;>), but basically no .223/5.56, or .380/9x19/.45acp, and very little .308/7.62x51. I've been trying to help out - brought in a sealed can (820 rounds) of surplus military 5.56 for the store owner, hoping I can replace it with new commercial stuff if Mr. Trump is reelected, and prices come back down to normal.
Of course, if the Dems succeed in stealing the election, I may regret parting with that can of ammo...
