Yeah, I’ve had IV ports on the back of my hands too. Just this past Sunday I was wo work in the hospital I work in and couldn’t catch my breath. Had to be keep over night. This is the second time this has happened to me in tow months.
Damn good thing I work in a hospital ER. The nurse put a port in my left hand. She said ‘’You’ve got beautiful veins. Nice and ropy’’.
Don’t you just love it when they say that ;>).... especially when they have that near magical ability to make it almost painless, especially the back of the hand.
