What polls are missing is the enthusiasm gap between Trump and Biden. Trump voters will walk on glass to go vote for him. Biden voters don't even want to walk. They want vote by mail.
Maybe it will be a good thing if a second wave of the virus sweeps the country right before the election. Trump voters will STILL vote!

Biden stands for strict gun control. Most conservatives do not. Biden stands for gay marriage. Most conservatives fo not. This is a big one: Biden stands for abortion, the killing of babies. Most conservatives do not. He has an awful platform to protect. All the things that the democrats stand for, most normal people are against. There is nothing I can see that Biden supports that I would stand behind. He is in a tough position if he expects to be elected to the presidency. The democrats will have to cheat badly for him to win.
Raddatz is the dopey blonde that was nearly in tears on Election Night in 2016, talking about how Tim Kaine (Hillary’s VP for those that have forgotten already) was asked if he trust Trump as CIC for the military since Kaine’s own son was in the military, and Kaine said he wouldn’t. There is no enthusiasm for Hidin’ Biden. There doesn’t need to be. They’ve got the cheating handled and now they’re just playing the waiting game.
Surveys showing greater enthusiasm among Romney voters was widely discussed in 2012 but it was actually the Obama campaign that outdid Romney in getting people to the polls. Obama's GOTV operation was clearly superior to Romney's while Trump's GOTV is said to be really good, and Trump generates more enthusiasm than Romney, but enthusiasm isn't necessarily a critical factor.
None of this is about enthusiasm or ideas for the country from the DEMs. In fact, they don’t want to tell people exactly what they want to do, only in vague terms. It’s all about voter fraud in this election, which we’ll find out soon enough whether it is enough. I don’t have a lot of faith in the people who vote.
