When asked to agree, disagree or remain neutral on the statement “Black families in America face obstacles that white families don’t face,” most families agree. But the results show some of the largest gaps in the survey across the party lines.

Well I certainly agree with that statement, but my reasoning has nothing to do with "police brutality". A more accurate cause might be the bastard rate? Something like 77% of blacks are born out of wedlock, while only about 30% of whites are bastards.

Likewise, the divorce rate. Not as big a gap, but still a 10% difference: blacks have about a 50% divorce rate, while whites are around 40%.

Those two facts are definitely having much more of an effect on black families vs white families than the extremely limited phantom of police brutality, which is probably worse for whites, no cop wants to make the national news like all these recent ones. Pretty sure there's been several studies that show whites are actually worse off in cop confrontations, since cops know no one will really care if a white dude gets shot.
