If this a true story and I have no reason to doubt it, the only reason Democrats would do this is mail in voting must not be helping them...

They realize now that they won’t have a supreme court that will back unconstitutional efforts.
Fake News. The democrats need to delay the inauguration until after the scheduled date so they can remove Trump via the Constitutional requirement.
Democrats have been using Covid to scare people to the point Democrats are now afraid of going to the polls to vote.
Now Democrats have to convince their base the polls are safe.

Actually the word is out for Trump supporters to vote in person at the polls. I have already returned my absentee ballot back to my city clerk and will vote in person. I took election day off from both of my jobs.
Now that the laws are in place to count fake ballots up to 17 days after the election so as to pad the required amount to over turn the legitimate results , they are seeking to get out the real voters in person to pad the exit polls and to provide the needed propaganda that the race is close, so to use as a threat they can win if people just wait for the forged ballots to be counted weeks later ,,, the last thing they want is to allow a trump landslide election night, Because by cheating weeks later they don't have to win, just be close enough to portray them as valid on the news cycle which will keep their militant base demanding to count every (sic) ballot .. don't know why nobody can see this Is the strategy

I wonder if they’ve decided that mail-in voting is too passive — and with conditions the way they are, it’s harder to bring groups to the polls early. So, there’s the risk that unless they amp up voting in person on election day, some folks just won’t.

Possibly. Also, I think that some states process the ballots as they come in but keep the accumulating vote breakout strictly confidential until after polls close on election night. Of course there would NEVER be corrupt DemocRATS in the bureaucracy who would pass on “how it’s going” to the DNC... would there. OF COURSE THEY’RE LEAKING LIKE SIEVES! And the DNC ADJUSTS accordingly.

I and everyone in my family — including two brand-new Republican voters, aged 23 and 20 — will be voting in person on election day.
I fully expect trouble at the polling place. I fully expect to be made to wait a long time to get in, due to "COVID restriction," and who knows what other nonsense.

Told ya AZ wasn’t in doubt. Two latest polls have Trump up and Maricopa County +57,000 MORE Rs than Ds in just the last couple of months. MC now is likely +4-5R.
