Nope. They're trying to get him to say "Yes, I will leave if I lose the election".
He knows that the press will REPORT that he lost the election no matter what. They will lie, cheat and steal and IF Pres Trump DARES to question the DEMOCRAT narrative they will say "See! He is trying to cling to power".

I see this as a good thing... well thought out on President Trump’s part.
By saying what he said, he has provoked all sorts of naysayers to go on record, “vowing“ that whoever wins on November 3 will be inaugurated on January 20th.
How is that not a good thing?
It was kind of like Br’er Rabbit saying “Please Br’er Fox, whatever you do, DON’T throw me in that briar patch!”
Now all his enemies will be tripping all over themselves to make the election fair, just to prove him wrong.
PT is right to say what he said, otherwise the commies will be embolden to cheat even more.

I know... I was being facetious - the cheating will happen at the state and precinct level anyway.
There’s nothing Pelosi or McConnell can do, one way or another.
My point was really that the comment President Trump made will not hurt him at all. In fact it will help him. It will throw his enemies off balance - when they get upset and angry, they make mistakes and reveal their pettiness.
This very moment they are all making fools of themselves by lying about what he said. They are saying he won’t accept the election results if he loses. Any three year old knows that isn’t what he said.
He provokes them - they double down on their lies. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
This is why he will win - he gets them to expose their true lizard skin and the American people aren’t liking what they see.
Of course, I should have assumed the sarcasm.
