A simple majority of registered voters are on board with abolishing the Electoral College for presidential elections in favor of the popular vote.
According to a new Hill-HarrisX poll released Tuesday, 51% of respondents said they would be in favor of weakening the influence of states without dense populations on the outcome of the election, whereas 49% believe it should be kept "to distribute voter power among all 50 states."

If we vote on it, probably only the small states should vote.
My poll suggests 90% don’t understand the concept of a republic, the roles of states, and the purpose of the electoral college.
I also think if the Dems are sick of losing, they look at the rules and come up with better candidates.
Seriously, if the Dems could have come up with a moderate candidate, they would be in the White House now.
Someone really needs to sit them down and explain things to them.

Harry Reid and the Dems got rid of the filibuster for judicial appointments; they're not too happy about that now.

As a side note, I have NewsMax on in the background and I overheard whomever was talking state that the Dems have a very good chance of re-taking the senate. God help us all!

A majority of Americans think “Medicare for All” sounds like a great idea until they understand it means crappy Medicaid for All except the elites.
In a related survey, more than half of voters don’t know how and why World War II started, who started it, and how that person came to power.
I am of the opinion that the majority of voters do not even know what the electoral college is.
Majority of voters can’t tell you which way is North or South.
I love to point out to libs who come up with these surveys that surveys taken in the 1930’s found that most Americans wanted black people and Jews sent “back to where they came from”. Good thing we don’t have a democracy or we might be on this board typing in German.
And this is why the republic of state have the elector college.
