“I do not trust her at all. In the women think with there hearts, not there heads.”
I’m a female, and I don’t trust her either. My gut tells me this is going to come back to bite us if she is chosen. I’d prefer the Cuban female judge from FL to this one. She’s going to be too corporate in attitude, too establishment and she’s married to another lawyer, that’s one too many lawyers for me.
Curious, why the Cuban lady?
Some favorable rulings or because she's cuban?
I don’t trust the Jeb/Marco pick either. I hope Trump digs deeper on his list.
I agree with you. All any of us can do (including Trump) in this all important decision process is “guess” based on a few tidbits of facts. One tidbit is that at some point in her life Barrett elected to hyphenate her name. Lagoa did not. Is that an indicator that Barrett is more of a Feminist than Lagoa? Who knows? But, all things considered, I suspect she is. So, I vote for Lagoa.
“...and shes married to another lawyer, “
Who was Counsel to Fla. Gov. Charlie Crist. (D)
Grant's the only judge I've seen actually get a letter from the left begging the Judiciary Committee not pick her.
I like that.
Check her out.
She may have gone along because it seemed like a good idea at the time. But since it was waaay overdone, has her opinion changed?
[[Im a female, and I dont trust her either. My gut tells me this is going to come back to bite us if she is chosen.]]
I think we’re all a bit nervous after watching roberts, who was supposed to be a brilliant, conservative judge by those who vetted him, turn on our party so nearly completely- Even gorsuch, who is likewise supposed to be very conservative, has ruled on matters in a bit of a troubling manner- on soem issues- his views on gay ‘rights’ (meaning of course extra super duper special rights noone else has) is a bit troubling- but we didn’t find that out till after he got put in-
It’ a real crap shoot- we hope for the best- but have been stung in the past- badly- and it’s such a long appointment too which makes it all that much worse- once they are in, there’s nothing we can do to get them out if they turn on the party
So apprehension is totally understandable
Lagoa’s parents are from Cuba. That should give her a greater appreciation of American liberty.
