Everybody expects POTUS to be the attack dog in these debates. but all he has to do is stay focused, be congenial and NOT attack him like he does at the rallies!
The rally speeches are red meat for the Trump supporters; the debate is a splendid opportunity to sway undecided (can you believe that there are “undecideds” still out there?) and wavering Democrats to vote for him on November 3.
IOW, let Sloe Joe be the bad cop! Let Sloe Joe stumble and falter! Sloe Joe will screw up without POTUS having to force any issues.
And POTUS is quite capable of responding in a polite, reasoned manner that is sure to put Sloe Joe off his game.
