Do we even know the Dems are not going to turn that funeral into another George Floyd type funeral, dragged over several weeks and milked by the Dems for every political advantage they can get? The Dems have a very long history of doing that, from the Wellstone funeral to the Ted Kennedy funeral.
Good point but they are dealing with Trump this time. He’s given them a week and already stated he will have the nominee announced this Friday or Saturday. I doubt he backs away from that timeline if the Dems decide to slow-walk the funeral.
