We just don’t have enough time for showmanship and whatnot . He needs to nominate someone ASAP. He knows how hard it is to get someone confirmed.

Actually, that goes to the concern I mentioned hereabouts the other day; Trump would try to make the nomination a big drawn-out production instead of just getting it done. You have to first score the touchdown before you start spiking the ball.
