Agreed. Who asked her? Let the process play out. There will be a time after nomination & before the confirmation vote for he to make a statement. Perhaps she made the statement now because she’s bought, sold & ordered to take a stand.
If there are enough votes Mitch will let a few Senators who are in a bind abstain or vote no.
