There is no requirement that the Senate take up impeachment or any other action by the House. In reality, it is highly unlikely that Nancy could get a majority of the House to pass another impeachment resolution at this time anyway.
Well, sometimes, unless Comrade Governors decide they write the laws and John Roberts lets them get away with it.
