RBG was a rabid partisan with supreme arrogance and a breathtaking sense of entitlement. She must have thought she had some say on the selection of her successor and who could choose him/her.
RBG refused to step down under Obama assuming Hillary would select her successor. She rolled the dice and came up snake eyes.
Any Rep who fails to expedite the confirmation of Trumps successor should expect consequences. They would be giving the middle finger to their base. The ME GOP should withdraw its endorsement of Collins even if it means losing the seat. It would send a message to any other Rep considering following Collins example.
Morning Cousin Mike.
You describe her perfectly. And I agree with you about Collins. I’d rather lose the seat than keep that awful woman hanging around.
Trumps nomination vice successor. Time for another cup of tea.
One of the enemy's leading generals is dead. Time to press our advantage.
Up until Friday I was willing to loose the Linda Gramnasty seat - after all it would be a one for one swap with Alabama.
But Linda appears to be tacking to the right on the issue of the Supreme Court, even as he lets us down on the perfidy of the Russia mob
Or as the seemingly immortal knight in the Indiana Jones movie about the Holy Grail said, "She chose poorly."
Can't wait for reality to catch up to Nancy Pelosi.
Shady Pines Suzy.
She gave instructions that the next president should name her replacement. So she expects us to leave that seat vacant through 2025?
