It’s now about firing up the base with the pick, and making the stakes clear, and putting the Democrats on the defensive. But really, Trump is playing with house money here.

Americans need to see another Kavanaugh style Senate confirmation just before the election to help them remember how childish and evil they are. Let the Dem Senators attack a well qualified and respected conservative female and see what it does to the vote. I bet President Trump has already thought if this and it would be priceless.
