I don’t know Biden’s mental state.
I almost think he’s thinking “What have I gotten myself into.”
I think deep down he’s not as Left as most of the rest of the party, but he’s backed into a corner.
Think of Romney in 2012. We all know he’s no Conservative, but he had to try to pretend he was one, so he said things he thought Conservatives wanted to hear, and it never came off as convincing.
And Biden can’t pull off trying to pass himself off as a far-left person, he goes back and forth, I think that probably explains his demeanor more than anything.
Well the democrats knew they wouldn’t win if Bernie was their nominee. So they got Biden in, with all the progressives in the background making his agenda. Biden is easily pushed around and will say whatever he’s told to say to get elected.
He’ll go whichever way the wind blows. Looking at the democrats and their constituents, they’re all far left. The few that aren’t can’t stand up to them.
