This story gets posted every couple of days. People act like it’s a big deal. Honest to God, this is perhaps the most American solution I’ve seen to these perceived “problems”: if you don’t like what is going on, move and make it your own.

Reminds me of Col. Allensworth State Park in CA— the only community in CA bought, built, occupied by African Americans. This was after the Civil War, I think.
Exactly. Will Freedom have a police force and fire department? Will the mayor and city commissioners rip-off the citizens?
There was international outcry at a town in South Africa that did exactly that.
Some people seem to live in an alternative reality. I wish them luck but they are afraid of the wrong people. Cops and white people are the last people law abiding black people need to fear. Maybe they will make it into a socialist town where they don’t own anything they paid for.
Let em do it. It’s freedom of association, part of the 4th Amendment. Largely ignored since at least the ‘60s, but frankly, “anti-discrimination” laws violate that.
If that’s what they want, go ahead. But don’t come crying when it doesn’t work out as you dreamt.

NOTHING NEW. But the newspapers act is if it is something never heard of before! Look throughout the West after the Civil War and you will see lots of black towns.

This has been tried multiple times since the Civil War. Works for a while until the can’t keep the bad elements from moving in.
Agreed about reactions. However, regardless how it offends some, it’s 4A.
It’s a natural right to associate with those you wish. As long as they don’t violate outside laws that govern it, it really isn’t anyone’s business whether it’s black, white, yellow or red. Which BTW, we still have “reservations” anyway.
That “anti-discrimination” stuff has to go. Any given person should be able to pro-or-con discriminate as they wish, and that includes business.

I don’t know why but the moderator has selective aggression on repeat posts. Some get zapped immediately with what appears to be prejudice and others just go on and on and on.
