ALL American popular culture is vomit. I rigorously tune it OUT

The instant I see some thing the least bit off color-I am outta there. Because I know it will only get worse and worse.

I have the feeling I am being slapped in the face with that stuff and I have had enough. I am tired of being insulted like that.

There’s less and less I will tolerate, including the disgusting commercials... so I boycott that sponsor TOO! Everything is at the level of the gutter and it’s too much.

"Defining deviancy down." We've certainly come a long way since people who made TV shows were so concerned about its affects on society they wouldn't even depict married couples as sleeping in the same bed. That may have been overkill, but at least they cared back then. You can look at how things evolved by watching TV shows and how they are made every 10 years - more and more depraved, with the conscience of society becoming more and more desensitized. In 10 years, even this kind of content described in this article will be considered "mild" most likely.

It boggles the mind that someone could sit down and write this stuff, an actor would agree to voice these kinds of lines, and that anyone could watch this kind of content for even 5 seconds without being repulsed to turn it off. Yet there are apparently plenty who do.
