Cruz has an issue deciphering Founder intent on NBC.

No thanks.

President then takes a number of insulting questions from reporters saying he misled the public, and he doesn’t challenge the premise at all. Why not start by saying, “I don’t mislead the public.”

Cruz would be a superb SC justice pick - that’s one guy I’d never need to worry about backsliding or betraying conservatives. We need outspoken right-wing activists on the court - I’ve had enough of the “strict textualist” BS.

Ted Cruz has got no business being on the SC. He has shown that he either doesn’t understand what a Natural Born Citizen is (thus, too ignorant) or he is willing to argue against the plain intent of the Framers so as to aggrandize himself (thus, too corrupt).

Update:

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) said Wednesday that he would not accept a nomination to the Supreme Court shortly after President Trump named him on a shortlist of candidates for the high court.

“I appreciate the President’s confidence in listing me as a potential Supreme Court nominee,” Hawley tweeted Wednesday. “But as I told the President, Missourians elected me to fight for them in the Senate, and I have no interest in the high court. I look forward to confirming constitutional conservatives.”

Gorsuch got rid of whatever morality was left on the right with his decision giving homosexuals and transgenders civil rights. In many ways Trump is an amazing man, but the fact that he still praises Gorsuch makes me realize that Trump is but a speed bump in the race towards the end of this great nation.

Remember, Ted Cruz said to "vote your conscience", meaning do not vote for Trump. He said this as a guest speaker at the Republican convention in 2016.
