I lived in Ohio all of my life, moved to SC three years ago. I lived in Fairfield County about fifteen minutes from downtown Columbus, mostly rural county, farming, definitely middle America. It has ALWAYS been red and very conservative. My niece drives twice a day, into the countryside to feed her horses. She says, the Biden signs are ten to one of Trumps. In the communities, BLM signs are everywhere and in Pickerington, where I lived, businesses also have BLM signs. I can not tell you how shocking this is for this area and IMO it is not good news.

I was born and raised in Columbus an the surrounding suburbs. In 79 we moved to Pickerington, in Huntington Hills. Left in 83 when I joined the Army. Went back occasionally and Pickerington is no longer the same by a wide margin. Not surprising that the bulk of liberals made their way there. It was an ideal location that has now been more and more paved over and turned into a place I wouldn’t want to live.

I remember when just a couple of gas stations, a hotel and almost nothing else was located at 70 and 256. What it has turned into is shocking to me.
