these were the final poll numbers. they had all tightened up at the end to save face... do you get an equal value you need to look at the phone numbers in early September and compare.
Id love to have that graphic for the polls done 60 days out from the election.
That accuracy rating is beyond a joke since they all missed the 2016 election stating the same accuracy but the real accuracy was more than 10% and not 0.04%.
This is a useful chart, thanks for posting. There is a caveat: I believe that these results show their final polls measured against the actual result when all polling organizations were scrambling to come up with the closest poll compared with the outcome.
All of these public polls have a very different objective at this stage of the campaign. They are trying to please their client (usually the media) and to influence the behavior of the voter. These polls are propaganda and all of the pollsters employ well known magic tricks to get a desired result. Watching the trends is helpful, paying attention to the bottom line number is a waste of time.
