I like the way he handled the McCain questions.
Somebody mentioned that he said something bad about McCain, as I recall Trump said he didn’t like “captured” heroes.
Then Trump pointed out how he allowed McCain to have perks for his funeral he didn’t really deserve, how McCain didn’t want him at the funeral, how he acquiesced. You can believe under the same scenario Obama would have been there.
We all know that McCain wrecked his plane, how he was involved in a plane takeoff that ended up blowing up a ship although it’s denied. McCain was an awful, awful solder, he betrayed our soldiers and I got a bridge to sell anybody thinks McCain spend his time buried in a jail-hole. I understand he spent most of his time in a hotel while captured.
And I will never forget McCain’s snarky smile as he personally delivered the Steele dossier to the Senate Majority leader.
Trump said he never got along with McCain and he doesn’t deny it.
And out here in la-la land we know that McCain was all for McCain and we also know we’d never want him leading a war.
But....I’ll shut up.

No, not so much doubling down as she was trying to equivocate.
I think what has happened here is she did not expect the massive push back from people who not only used their names but were on the scene. Of course those in the liberal media and their avid followers would never admit the possibility this is phony but someone who flew in from another planet and heard both sides, one with 14 named sources claiming it never happened vs 4 anonymous sources claiming it did could only come away with one conclusion.
That would have been a fantastic response rather than the “free association” he sometimes engages in.
Maybe that’s why he scheduled it for today. LMAO!

It’s too late now. There are already 14 or so who claim they were there and that Trump did NOT say anything like what the reporterette claims.

One of the greatest tools the President has is that bully pulpit. And Trump sure uses his.
Also, he’s right about those endless wars. My life was totally messed up because of that awful Vietnam war. Today, some fifty years later, the Vietnamese now do my nails.
And Afghanistan? 19 years? Who the hell told them to spend a lifetime in that sandhole?
And when Dubya’s father, H.W. Bush stopped Saddamn (does anybody even remember him any more?) from invading Kuwait but didn’t finish the job.....they had to make up that weapons of mass destruction thing a few years later to finish him off.
Our military and great warriors are not the problem. It’s once you get politicos involved in running a war that it becomes a mess.
Trump has them pegged and they are doing everything to get the man any way they can.
