. You’re seeing it when they drop stale stories “supported” by mystery sources

Yes - you got the "series of ministrokes" story followed by the "losers" story - there is zero evidence to substantiate either story, but the media still ran with it.

John Bolton will disagree with the article and John Kasich might even get offended by it!

Mittens went over

Mittens was never in the Trump camp to go over.

I have a feeling most Constitutionals, especially those who conserve it, always ignore poll calls. We don’t even bother with them. We are not counted either. I would reason that’s around 80% or more of us. We know it comes down to either conserving our Freedoms or give them up for Institutional Slavery. Enough said.

There’s hardly any Trump remorse. On the other hand there was plenty of 0bama remorse.

Today I was driving by a large RV parking area on the Pacific Coast Highway near Huntington Beach. A large number of RVs were flying flags. I counted 6 Trump flags and 0 Biden flags. Two observations: (1) The enthusiasm gap is very real. Biden’s supporters don’t love him. (2) The white middle class (i.e., the sort of folks who would go to Huntington Beach in an RV) is overwhelmingly in the Trump camp. Who are the white folks backing Biden? Urban elite liberals, antifa-type radicals and LGBT. But you know, going forward, that last group might not be as solidly in the Dem camp as they’ve been. In San Francisco, I’m starting to hear rumblings from some of the LGBT I know about discomfort over the growing lawlessness. Some of the smarter gays (correctly) fear mob rule. One lesbian I know is backing Trump this time.

Who are the people leaving Trump? Where are they? The media trots out the same pack of rejected ex-GOP losers every few weeks under some new banner – “Republicans for Decency,” “Decent Republicans Against Trump,” “Trump-Hating Republicans for Biden and Decency,’” or “Decent Decency People of Decency Who Were Republican But Aren’t Now Because of Trump, Who Is Not Decent.”

He forgot to mention that People’s Front of Judea, and the Judean People’s Front - they want in on this, too.

I know of one. My brother-in-law who went from being a staunch conservative a few years ago to being a Democrat whereas at one time I was staunch liberal and am now a staunch conservative.

I met one yesterday who said she might switch. She voted for Trump in ‘16, but she just doesn’t like his tweets, his vulgar personality, or his lies.

I said “Yes, the press reports he has told 20,000 lies. Could you tell me one?”

Silence. Dead silence.

I pointed out his major accomplishments, his restructuring of the judiciary, and pointed out that the press is 95% negative to him so he has to use tweets to communicate directly to the American public. She grudgingly admitted to those facts.

This was in very conservative North Idaho. I was shocked. I just met her yesterday and I got the impression she doesn’t pay attention to politics at all.

It might surprise some Freepers to know that a great number of Americans, especially those in their 20’s and 30’s have no idea there even was a First World War.

What made him change? How does he justify supporting Biden with all his baggage?

Here is the movement I see, from those who are changing from 2016 to 2020:

1) my son from the libertarian to not voting (NC);
2) my mother from not voting to Biden (CA);
3) my son from being too young to vote to Trump (CA).

Everyone else I know who plans to vote this time voted the same last time: Trump still Trump, and Clinton now Biden. I do see some of this:

1) from wary Trump votes to enthusiastic Trump votes.

And this is the most interesting:

1) my mother in law, who was SDS in the 1960s and never voted for any GOP candidate EVER, voted for Trump in 2016 and will again in 2020. She really loves Tucker Carlson. She was liberal all her life! She still is pro abortion but doesn’t care about that issue anymore; she only cares about all her white grandsons and how they are basically on the back burner (or worse) in society these days. She also likes a healthy stock market and economy.

I believe it was working for the Department of Transportation Of Pennsylvania (PennDot). He got into a position of almost total job security and near endless amounts of money to throw at ‘’transportation studies’’. All of this came his way as long as he voted for Democrats. He apparently had no qualms about selling out his integrity in favor of job security.

Ah, a classic sellout then. I wonder if his conscience ever bugs him.
