To heck with Biden and Harris. I’m not willing to take a vaccine that has been rammed through to meet an election day deadline. I’ll wait for phase 2 or phase 3.
Some of the proposed vaccines are in phase 3 trials. One, by Moderna, uses mRNA so there is no chance of it causing Covid. Just enables the body to essentially create its own vaccine. With 30000 participants in phase 3 about 100 should be diagnosed with Covid each month based on the current spread of the disease in the US. It will be interesting to see if they can claim victory fairly quickly if they get 0 cases in the vaccinated half and the statistical expectation in the placebo group. If that’s the case no reason not to make it available to those willing to take it by November, barring side effects that are extreme and haven’t been seen so far.
ME EITHER, can’t even do the Flu vaccine, to many health issues.
