probably something that needs a bag to contain it. Brick/rock plus your favorite noxious substance - feces, urine, combo.

My money is on a hammer. There were several pictures of rioters using hammers to attack vehicles in those auto lots. Looking at images of rioters elsewhere, it seems to be a favourite weapon for smashing windows and breaking into premises.
