Detroit Police Chief James Craig responded to the order by saying his officers only have used force when protesters were not peaceful and that the ruling will not change how the department handles demonstrations.

I am sure the judge is defining “Peaceful Protest” to include murder, arson, looting and destruction. It was long ago determined judicially that burning the American Flag was a Free Speech right. All else necessarily follows. Burning businesses, looting, and shooting people are guaranteed Free Speech Rights.

im in Detroit....Chief Craig is the best....there hasnt been one case of looting or a fire here....the minute they start acting up, Detroit Police start thumping.....and they have some thumpers too...
