He was a great businessman that used dirty tactics to steal and perfect others ideas.
He fought Tesla on electric the power grid and Tesla won, we still use AC to this day. hell the power plant designed by Tesla at Niagara falls is still in operation today.
Edison took to electrocuting elephants in public to discredit Tesla, the guy was a jerk.

They where informed they had signed away those rights to the company(read the small print) they quit and are doing their own R&D
And it was actually two black brothers who invented the airplane before the Wright brothers came along and stole their idea.

Why not hold up good men like George Washington Carver. There is a man we can all look up to.
