Brexit BOMBSHELL: Barnier takes shots at ‘unwilling’ UK as EU makes demands on fisheries

MICHEL Barnier, the bloc's chief Brexit negotiator said the UK has not shown any willingness to seek compromises on fisheries as trade talks come to a halt.

Britain won’t get a new trade agreement with the EU without making substantial concessions on fishing rights according to Mr Barnier. Talks between the UK and EU are currently deadlocked over fishing rights and industrial aid.

Why should Britain negotiate with Brussels regarding what takes place in their territorial waters?

Well, then. I guess if you want the fish, offer us a better deal. Or buy the fish from our boats. I suspect the Brits could also get some great deals on EU commercial fishing boats that would have nowhere to fish...

Don't surrender your sovereignty, at least not cheap.
