They don’t need a supermajority in the Senate. All they need to do is do away with the filibuster and then they need 51 votes and that is what they plan to do.

Ballot harvesting is legal in California and a few other states, so I suspect the Republicans are practicing themselves.
All they have to do is get mystery votes and a judge to allow the counting of them.
That is how they have done it for years here in Washington State.

The House did not flip because of ballot harvesting. California was the only state that allowed ballot harvesting in 2018 and 7 House seats flipped because of it. Considering the pubs lost 40 seats, the dems still would have retaken the House.
But in Washington State, it isn’t mail in ballots that are lost and then magically found. These are “legitimate” votes that were being transported somewhere to be counted and then found in the trunk of a car.
