I honestly don't know why so many of the comments are condemning Pete for these quotes. If you made millions of dollars coaching mostly black men who play a violent game, you'd absolutely make similar statements if you knew that NOT saying them would most likely cause your gravy train to end.

This is 100% about money. Every aspect of the riots and the sports leagues speaking out and the media and the election. It's ALL about money. Pete is no different.

As I said up-thread, he was handed a speech to deliver. He might have changed the wording a bit to make it sound authentic, but he's just keeping his team happy.
