I dont mind seeing people free with their rhetoric. It lets me know who they really are, instead of who they pretend to be. In that way, political correctness has served to disguise folks we should avoid as in a man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.
As to the open season, it surely is provocative these days though not quite as provocative in June as August but I recall the brouhaha a couple elections ago when Gabby Gifford was shot. They blamed the Republicans for an advertisement which included target symbols over politicians they wanted to defeat. The open season remark could be the same so I would be willing to dismiss that rhetoric but not the BLM and all Trump supporters are racist garbage.
