Convicted felon in possession of a firearm is a Federal offense under 18 USC Section 922(g). States have similar laws, Not sure when the feds get involved .

Not sure when the feds get involved...Based on the joint Fed / Kenosha arrest of the RiotKitchen food caravan people and the turn-over of the cases by the feds over to the Kenosha PD, I'd say never.
