Polls should be watched for trends. For example, the polls recently have all been heading south for Biden based on the riots. Earlier in the summer, Trump was losing ground in every poll because of some missteps on the China virus.
In the end, turnout is what matters, and that’s why polls can be very misleading. If working class white guys turn out at record levels, Trump will over-perform polls. If pink hat wearing dingbat womyn show up in record numbers, Biden will surprise. It’s the trend, not the raw head-to-head numbers.
Exactly. My only reason for posting this was not because I ever believed the BS "Biden is up 9 points in NC" polls, but because I know this trendline is causing real sphincter spasms on the left.
