I agree that President Trump has interrupted a lot but I think the marchers have made another serious mistake. They have insinuated themselves into the education establishment to foment revolution but I think they have misjudged how spoiled and impatient the students are. No more long march for them. They want it right away so they are protesting, rioting, threatening right before a major election and they are further damaging the cause by purging the older generation of marchers through the cancel culture. They want it right now and they want the oldsters out and so they are waking up lots of people to the threat before it is fully ripe.
You are correct. The plan was 8 yeaars of Obama and 8 years of Hillary—and they were that close. Trump is fighting back on all fronts: academia, press, judiciary, House, bureaucracies, state and local government, media, entertainment, corporations, military and intelligence agencies. But it will take years to set it right—well beyond Trump’s second term. This is a fight for our nation.
