Big business loves monopoly and oligopoly, and thrives on government regulations, restrictive laws, and lobbyist back-scratching.
They would love nothing better than a government and corporate control of markets to keep out unapproved competition and suppress the voices of the American peasantry.
John Stossel did a great show on, Corporatism, and how big business with their buddies in the Chamber of Commerce can destroy the little guy and eliminate any and all competition.
IMHO, as far as our economy goes, that Corporatism has done more to harm the US economy, small business owner and entrepreneur than anything else.
