Yup. This is EXACTLY the playbook Thomas Friedman laid down in that NY Times column a couple of months ago. Set conditions for “fact-checking” that Trump will never agree to and then use that as an excuse to bail.
At least two debates will be canceled. Jill or one of the grandchildren will get COVID-19 before the 1st or 2nd debate, and Joe will be quarantined due to exposure. For the next debate, Joe will have COVID-19, requiring quarantine. This is entirely predictable.
They will claim Biden has covid and is to sick to debate, he then makes a miraculous recovery two weeks before the election.
