Probably okay.
How many folks do the debates really influence anyway?
We’er just missing an opportunity for comedy as Biden gaffes and wanders off into incoherence.

I know. No comedy. Alas. But, at least we would know that by not debating, he would be conceding the race.

Debates don’t influence many unless a candidate makes a monumental gaff.

Also some make a big deal about which Convention drew more viewers but that has never an indicator of which candidate would win.

A great many, when it comes to the perpetually “undecideds”. Those folks don’t generally pay any attention until a month before the election, and by then, the debates are the primary method of them assessing the candidates. These are the types of people who don’t decide based on a set ideology, but vote based on their personal impression of the candidates.
