HELLO FRiend!

An exceptionally dry season in the Sierra Nevada mountains. No monsoons to speak of, and the power company is draining the lake to use the water elsewhere to make electricity. Damn clean renewable hydroelectric power!

Resort is closing early due to suppressed hiker numbers... and low to average turnout for car campers, and less than enthused fishermen, faced with a constantly diminishing lake capacity.

Tree stumps and rocks are being exposed at a rapid pace, making the water taxi captain’s position a whole lot more interesting on each and every dicey run.

Devin Nunes is looking for warm bodies to ballot harvest in his district and other key congressional races in central California. I might do that instead of hiking in the fall.

You take care, my FRiend.

No running into any tree stumps or submerged boulders as you taxi around that beautiful lake.

If you can’t beat ‘em join ‘em, ballot harvesting to help us win in CA is a must.
