He certainly does keep the Senate in session even when they leave for break. This hasn’t been done to any other President before and it’s being done by a Republican.
Why won’t he call a recess?

McConnell has kept the Senate in session since Trump got in. Trump has had zero such appointments. 0bama had 32. Bush had 171. Bill Clinton had 139. GW Bush had 77. Ronald Reagan had 240.
Trump has had ZERO.
