CNN panned for on-air graphic reading 'fiery but mostly peaceful protest' in front of Kenosha fire

CNN was widely mocked late Wednesday after an on-air graphic that was broadcasted a day earlier went viral.
CNN national correspondent Omar Jimenez was reporting live in the early hours on Tuesday morning on the unrest that had taken place in Kenosha, Wis., following the police-involved shooting of Jacob Blake.
Jimenez was standing in front of a raging fire and the chyron at the bottom of the screen read, "FIERY BUT MOSTLY PEACEFUL PROTESTS AFTER POLICE SHOOTING."

Holy smokes.
Yes, we can see how peaceful things are. Except for all the buildings on fire, things are quite peaceful.
This has been the media template since May, when that idiot from MSNBC, reporting from Minneapolis, said that he was in the midst of peaceful protests, except for the building on fire behind him.
Off topic perhaps, but I think incidents like this are why so many people do not trust the media nowadays. We see things with our own eyes, yet are told something which contradicts what we see happening.

FactCheck.org will come out saying that was an accurate statement. Because the reporter didn't start the fires or shoot anyone. At least during this news report.
