Minneapolis mayor sets a curfew, calls for National Guard after downtown stores looted, windows smashed

The city of Minneapolis imposed a curfew and asked the National Guard to return to its streets after renewed rioting and looting Wednesday night.

The unrest was sparked by untrue rumors that a man wanted for a fatal shooting who killed himself as police closed in had actually been shot by officers.

Police almost immediately shared surveillance video of the suicide, but it did little to calm crowds who broke windows at retail stores, restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The sudden chaos prompted Gov. Tim Walz to declare an emergency in the city and mobilize the Minnesota National Guard and 150 State Patrol troopers. Mayor Jacob Frey also ordered a curfew from 10 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday.

All along Trump and those of us on the right have known that there is a difference between protesting and what has been playing out on the streets night after night. In fact, has there been much in the way of actual peaceful protesting reported on in the media of late? Not much. These things used to be peaceful (or relatively so) in the day and then ramp up at night. But now, it’s all destruction all the time.
And all of it apparently with the approval of the media and the Dems.

And now, the microphone has been handed to Trump/the Right and the correct way to characterize the carnage on the streets is being heard by the masses. So, the media and the Dems need their now-faint voice to be heard condemning the violence.

Leaders gonna lead. Followers gonna follow. And Liars gonna stick their wetted finger in the air to see which way the wind blows.
