It’s now 2020, and as far as I’m concerned, the Dodgers can go to hell.

I watched the Tuesday’s game on FS 1...
Dodgers were winning at the bottom of 9th inning...Then Giants tied the game...

Giants won in extra innings...

In extra innings, there is a runner on second base with nobody out...
I watched how that worked in real games...I have to say that rule is making the game more fun...

Why don’t all professional sports teams shut down? Why just for one day? Why not until all racism, hate and bad cops are eliminated? This would be a serious statement not just weak virtue signaling.

Excellent questions...
Have those players thought about what they planned to accomplish by not playing on Wednesday?

Did they just want people to know how angry they are? That’s it?

Are they going to refuse to play until the cop, who shot Mr. J. Blake, is found guilty by a jury?
Justice system could be very slow...That might take more then one year...
No baseball until year 2022?

These athletes, who refused to play on Wednesday, think that they made a huge difference...Really?

A question for Giants and Dodgers players...What do you want your fans to do? Most Giants and Dodgers fans live in California...
Should a GOP member of Wisconsin legislature care about opinions of Dodgers fans who live in California?

Bucks basketball team wants Wisconsin Republicans to go along with Gov. Evers’ agenda...OK, I am guessing that Bucks players are hoping that Bucks fans will pressure GOP to act...

Looks like the sportball cult is shutting itself down.

Same here; I’m especially excited about the prospect of watching these “professionals” get real jobs.

Just as meaningless fluff was referred to as “so September 10th” after 9/11 showed us what really mattered, things like professional sports dominated by BLM are “so pre-COVID”...

For these fools who if not for God-Given physical talents would have jobs asking, do you want fries with that?

Unfortunately for them, all too true. Something like 85% of the NFL's players are broke within 5 years of leaving the game, IIRC.

Sounds like an easy cop-out on a joke of a partial season with zero TV ratings. They won’t be missed.

I agree, just like teachers, they all need to shut down until their safety can be GUARANTEED, which of course is never.

I have a co-worker who is conservative and very pro-Trump. However, he will not give up on sports or popular entertainment. He is unmarried, lives alone, has no pets is not religious and has nothing else going on in his life to occupy him. I guess people like that would have nothing to do without their sports and movies.

The players have such a high self esteem that they believe that we cannot go through life without their entertainment.

And there have been a lot of examples of “go woke, go broke” for them to see.

Guess some people will never learn.

To hell with pro sports. Dove season is coming up. Time to gear up and hit the field.

He needs a hobby. Like firearms and shooting. And/or motorcycles.

Those two thing will take care of your free time *and* your discretionary funds. I can vouch for that.

He also lives in a condo. If he lived in a house as my wife and I do, he would never ruin out of stuff to do. Dropping sports has given me more time to catch up on home repair/improvement projects that are much more important than sports.
