Most pro sports leagues only pay their players during the regular season, so these guys probably aren’t risking much. The money paid in the playoffs is based on how far each team advances, and even for the league champions it’s a small fraction of the regular salaries.
Not sure why these guys think putting themselves out of business is going to accomplish anything, but they’re grown men and they’re free to do as they think best.
How much has any kneeling, or sitting-out, or looting, or peaceful-protesting, or corporate-boot-licking, accomplished for the anti-police-violence cause in the last 3 months?

I recommend that the entire NBA close down on principle. I also recommend that all liberal universities close down until all police departments are totally defunded. To prove their commitment to principle, nether the NBA players nor the university professors should receive salaries.

I’ve been watching UFC fights. Very entertaining, especially if you imagine the guy getting the crap beat out of him is your formerly favorite sports star.
