Yes. At the end of the ‘90s or just afterwards, pay for ski resort workers plummeted to the minimum wage after the hiring of so many third world folks. It was cut by more than half for the lowest paid ones.
This all sounds good to me.
Seems like the plan is working. Perhaps this ought to be permanent.
Ski bumming used to be a great job/gig/life style for young people in California.
So the ridiculous ski lift price wasnt due to labor costs?

adjusting means paying more. Good.
ALL forms of immigration must stop until unemployment is at 0%.
Actually most mountain operations do not make money despite the cost of daily lift tickets and the insane cost of food.
The money is made on the real estate.
