Did you see the video where the shooter was on the ground, then shot the guys who were trying to club him with skateboards? The shot that hit the guy in the arm was, IIRC, the last one fired - and it was backlit somewhat. There was a sort of a pink mist mingling with the smoke from the gunshot. In the darkened street, it's tough to see pooled blood. The other skateboard guy that was shot in the street just dropped there and didn't move.
