I turned on my TV last night to start watching the RNC. Went to Fox News first.

Tucker Carlson was on, and he brought in Brit Hume for commentary. The a-hole Brit went on to downplay and put down the energy of the speakers. Fox put up a poor picture of Kim Klacik. Very poor form!

I immediately switched to C-Span and had a great evening watching the convention uninterrupted and without stupid commentary.

Congratulations to the RNC for a great first night of the convention. Very interesting speakers and the interludes between the speakers were also great, with Mr. Trump and the hostages who were released, the critical workers (police, medical e.t.c), where he interviewed them, the two Hispanic sisters. Fascinating personal stories all.

All the speakers were great last night, even Kimberly Guilfoyle (LOL).

Some of the speakers had me bleary eyed and almost in tears. I don't know how Andrew Pollack was able to do his speech, without breaking down. Natalie Harp, the bone cancer survivor, the powerful testimony of Maximo Alvarez, all great personal stories.

It was nice to see so many regular people speak, as opposed to celebrities and politicians. Interesting to see policy affecting individual lives of ordinary people.
