Remember he was a ‘somewhat’ rising star as a Congressman in his handling of the Clinton impeachment.

Guess the McCain ‘influence’ won them both over and turned them into RINOs at the very least

I looked at the list and was somewhat surprised to see former New Hampshire senator Gordon Humphrey there. He was overall a strong conservative during his two terms and retired voluntarily rather than become a career politician. He ran for governor a few years later but was unsuccessful.
